Brunner Digital

Brunner Digital was started in 2021 by Alexander E. Brunner. He is the principal of the company.

Alexander E. Brunner studied business and economics at the University of St.Gallen HSG in Switzerland before working for Ben&Jerrys, the US cult ice-cream brand. Afterwards he worked for more than a decade in alternative investments, hedge-funds and impact investing as well a senior executive at a Swiss-Swedish big data startup.

From 2015 until 2022 Alexander was also a member of parliament in the City of Zurich.

Alexander is the author of the book Crypto Nation Switzerland. It was successfully crowd-funded and published in spring 2019 by Stämpfli.

In July 2021 he wrote the Swiss Digital Asset and Wealth Management Report 2021 with CV VC as the publisher and supported by the Swiss Blockchain Federation.

In May 2022, as the president, he launched the Home of Blockchain.swiss promotion initiative and published the Swiss Digital Asset Market Report 2022. The report was inaugurated at the World Economic Forum in Davos in the presence of the Minister of Finance Ueli Maurer.

In June 2023 together with the Swiss Banking Association, the Asset Management Association Switzerland and the Capital Markets Technology Association he published the Swiss Digital Asset Custody Report 2023.

Alexander is the founder and principal of Brunner Digital.
